I didn't see much of him at Forest, but the commentator against Man U said that in the Championship the main weapon in his armour was his pace, they said he would just knock the ball and then beat everyone around him for pace. They also said that he was a guaranteed outlet for Forest who knew that if they gave the ball to Antonio he would always set up a counter attack with his pace. their observation against Man U was that he was trying to do exactly the same thing but was up against quicker, better and more intelligent players who read the game better which was why he kept coming off second best trying to do what he did so well at Forest. Their conclusion was that if that's all he has in his locker he's not good enough at it for it to be an effective weapon in the PL.

I don't think he'll be given time neither. When Payet Lanzini and Moses are back he'll be lucky to make the bench. I hope he does the business and makes it hard for them to come straight back in though.

I've seen enough of Antonio to think he will improve and be good value...if given enough game time...'
Obviously Moses is a better player...but would command a fee twice that of Antonio...

One Mac, I don't think he's done too bad neither. I don't think he's anywhere near what we want for a first team player to achieve a top 10 finish. Fair enough he ain't a bad 6th choice winger/attacker behind Valencia Moses Payet Lanzini and Zarate....but the fee seems a little insane to me. Could have used it elsewhere. I'd rather have bought one £10million striker.

I just prefer people with ability on the ball. Never understood how people expect West Ham to finish high up with players who aren't near the level of the top clubs players.
